This is a recipe you can make using the vegan meringue recipe which I have on the website. I use raspberry juice to colour the meringue slightly pink then I add a drop or two of rose water to the batch prior to whipping this up to a meringue.
- Vegan meringues
- Soy whipped cream or other whipped cream substitute
- Fresh strawberries
- Make the meringues according to this recipe. Just add any colouring and rose water if you like. Make the meringues as flat as possible and bake the meringues as instructed.
- Once the meringues are done and they have cooled off properly – decorate them with vegan whipped cream and fresh strawberries.
- To get that shape of the strawberries as on the photo, slice the strawberries almost all the way through, saving a small piece intact at the top to keep the strawberry slices still attached. (if that makes any sense)
